NBA commissioner expects players to stand during anthem
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has made a statement regarding the recent controversy of NFL players kneeling saying that no players in the NBA were allowed to kneel. He said that the players have always and will continue to stand and respect the national anthem. When asked about possible punishment for any players who stood, Silver simply mentioned they would deal with it when the time comes. I'm sure this statement will receive much opposition, and hopefully no incident in the upcoming NBA season will bring so much negative publicity like the NFL has received lately.
